Every Monday, the Mint, alongside 32Bar Productions, delivers a speak-easy type experience that is reminiscent of an old New York Jazz club. This night, aka the Groove Pocket, is dedicated to celebrating art in all its forms; from the house Jazz band, who is sure to take you through a variety of musical adventures, to the visual artists, whose creativity seems limitless. In addition to playing a spectacular first set every Monday, the band also hosts a JAZZ JAM SESSION that features LA’s top Jazz talent. The Groove Pocket also features live art by many of LA’s up and coming artists. As if that’s not enough, the band’s breaks are filled with…BREAKS, SOUL and HIP HOP…provided by some of the finest DJs in LA. To top everything off, this event takes place at the historical Mint, a venue that has provided awesome live music since 1939. Come and enjoy spectacular music at this historical venue!!! Great food is served all night, with two for one drink specials before 10PM.
